Location and Entrance
The Tidebound Grotto is located beneath Atal’Utek in The Coiled Isle. The entrance is underwater in the eastern part of the zone.

Tidebound Grotto Boss Overview
Nymrissa Wavecaller is a single phase boss with a repeating mechanic cycle. The encounter focuses on controlling murlocs around the Alluring Bubble, handling Frost Orbs, and moving through the safe areas created by Swirling Whirlpools.
Alluring Bubble creates a large bubble in the arena and attracts nearby Bubblefin Shorerunners. Murlocs that enter the bubble become empowered. On Mythic difficulty, Bubblefin Frostscales can also appear and protect nearby murlocs with Waterfog Shield.
Swirling Whirlpools move toward the Alluring Bubble and damage players caught in their path. Watch the arena edges and move into the safe section before the whirlpools reach your position.
Chilling Frost places Frost Orbs around affected players. Frost Orbs leave Lingering Frost when triggered, creating slippery ground. On Heroic, untouched Frost Orbs can Shatter and deal heavy raid damage. On Mythic, touching an orb also triggers Frost Burst.
Water Jet is a tank mechanic that pushes the target and can remove Lingering Frost on Mythic difficulty. Aim the frontal toward icy ground when you need to clear space for the raid.
Abyssal Rain deals raid wide damage and becomes more dangerous as the encounter continues. Healers should plan cooldowns around its heavier damage windows.
Nymrissa Wavecaller Strategy
Kill the murlocs before they reach the Alluring Bubble. Bubblefin Shorerunners move toward the bubble and become empowered if they enter it. Use slows, roots, grips, knockbacks, and other crowd control effects to keep them away from the bubble. Ranged DPS should switch to them immediately.
Manage Frost Orbs away from the raid. Chilling Frost causes affected players to leave Frost Orbs behind. Players can trigger the orbs, taking damage and gaining a stacking increase to Frost Orb damage taken. Rotate players between orbs and avoid leaving them in areas needed for movement.
Move into the safe area during Swirling Whirlpools. The whirlpools move toward the Alluring Bubble and damage players caught in their path. Watch the arena edges and move to the safe section before the whirlpools converge.
Heroic Changes
Do not leave Frost Orbs unattended. On Heroic, Frost Orbs can Shatter if left untouched, causing heavy raid damage and a damaging effect. Make sure every orb is triggered before it can Shatter.
Prepare for increasing Frost damage. Repeated Abyssal Rain casts increase the Frost damage taken during the encounter, making later parts of the fight more demanding for healers.
Mythic Changes
Kill Bubblefin Frostscale first. Waterfog Shield reduces damage taken by nearby murlocs by 99 percent. Remove the Frostscale before focusing the protected adds.
Handle Frost Orbs carefully. Touching an orb triggers Frost Burst and deals raid wide damage. Assign players to soak the orbs and avoid triggering several at the same time.
Use Water Jet to clear Lingering Frost. Tanks can aim Water Jet at Lingering Frost when the raid needs more space.

Tanks should keep Nymrissa positioned where the raid has enough room to handle Frost Orbs and Swirling Whirlpools. Point Water Jet away from the raid and use it to clear Lingering Frost on Mythic.
