How to Farm Ghosts of the Deep For Loot
When Ghosts of the Deep is the featured dungeon for the week, you can farm it endlessly for loot, including its Exotic rewards. All you need is a dedicated Fireteam and a few hours to spare.
Here’s how to farm Ghosts of the Deep:
- Play through the dungeon on your first character until you reach the encounter you want to farm.
- Start the encounter, then intentionally wipe (fail the encounter without completing it).
- Ask your Fireteam to wait while you switch to a second character that hasn’t completed the dungeon that week.
- Rejoin your Fireteam on the second character and wipe again. This will set the checkpoint for your second character.
From here, you can repeat the following steps to farm the encounter:
- Launch the dungeon using your second character, which is holding the checkpoint.
- Switch back to your first character and rejoin the Fireteam.
- Complete the encounter to get your loot.
- Exit the dungeon, switch characters again, and repeat the process.
This method allows you to farm the desired GotD encounter as many times as you want until the weekly reset.

Ghosts of the Deep Armor Sets: Taken King
Like other dungeons in Destiny 2, Ghosts of the Deep offers a unique armor set for each class.
Below, you can check their appearance for the Warlock, Hunter, and Titan.
Ghosts of the Deep Artifice Armor
