In World of Warcraft, tier sets are always a big deal for players, and Vault of the Incarnates, the first raid in Dragonflight, brought exciting new gear that is still amazing for transmogrification. Each class has its own unique set, with powerful bonuses and a look that fits its style.
This guide covers all VoTI tier sets (for every armor type), provides an overview of their appearances, and explains their bonuses. Whether you care about stats or just want cool transmog, this will help you decide which sets to chase.
Vault of the Incarnates Tier Sets Overview
In Vault of the Incarnates, the opening raid of Dragonflight, every class gets its own powerful armor set. Players always look forward to new tier sets—not just for their epic looks (some are real masterpieces, like the Paladin’s Virtuous Silver Cataphract), but also for the strong bonuses that boost your performance.
These sets give special effects when you wear 2 or 4 pieces, changing how your class plays.
Below, you will find an overview of all VoTI armor skins. We’ll also share our thoughts about how each of them looks and advise which Vault of the Incarnates gear is worth collecting.
Death Knight Armor Set Appearances
Death Knight class armor sets (Haunted Frostbrood Remains) vary in appearance based on raid difficulty, featuring unique color schemes: Mythic (purple), Heroic (vibrant blue), Normal (fiery orange/yellow), and Raid Finder (dark icy blue). Each specialization gains powerful tier bonuses: Blood gains Rune generation and damage buffs from Bone Shield, Frost boosts critical strike damage and Killing Machine efficiency, and Unholy enhances ghoul damage and player stats through Festering Wounds. The sets maintain frosty, crystalline designs but adapt colors to match their difficulty.
The color schemes differ based on difficulty:
- The Mythic difficulty set features a purple color scheme. The armor has the same detailed, crystalline designs as the other sets but with a unique purple hue.
- The Heroic difficulty set has a more vibrant and intense blue color scheme. The armor retains the frost-like designs but with more pronounced and detailed crystalline structures.
- The Normal difficulty set stands out with a fiery orange and yellow color scheme. The armor maintains the intricate designs but replaces the icy blue with fiery, molten colors.
- The Raid Finder features a dark, icy blue color scheme. The armor has intricate, frost-like designs with sharp, crystalline formations.

Demon Hunter Armor Set Appearances
The Demon Hunter class set (Skybound Avenger’s Flightwear) has 4 recolors based on the raid difficulty. Mythic sets have a dark, sinister look with purple glow, Heroic features frost-like blue patterns, Normal has fiery orange highlights, and Raid Finder adopts an earthy green aesthetic. DH sets from Vault of the Incarnates provide good bonuses for Havoc (DPS) and Vengeance (Tank) Demon Hunters (in WoW Retail, they don’t matter anymore, but still). They boost core abilities, improving critical strike chances, DPS, and survivability (you can check the bonuses below). Acquiring higher-difficulty versions grants more visually striking appearances (I prefer the Heroic set, though) while maintaining the same logic of the set bonuses.
The color schemes differ based on difficulty:
- Mythic: The armor has a more sinister and dark appearance, with intricate patterns and glowing purple highlights.
- Heroic: The armor features intricate, frost-like patterns and glowing blue highlights, giving it a cold and mystical appearance.
- Normal: The armor has a warm, fiery appearance with intricate patterns and glowing orange highlights.
- Raid Finder: The armor has a more natural and earthy appearance, with intricate patterns and glowing green highlights.
Demon Hunter Set Bonuses (Vault of the Incarnates)

- (4) Set Bonus: Spirit Bomb and Soul Cleave have a 12% chance to deal 50% more damage and reduce enemy damage dealt to you by 15% for 8 seconds.
Druid Armor Set Appearances
The Druid class set (Lost Landcaller’s Vesture) enhances each specialization (Balance, Feral, Guardian, Restoration) with unique bonuses that amplify their core abilities. The armor’s visual design varies by difficulty, featuring deep purple (Mythic), frosty blue (Heroic), fiery orange (Normal), and earthy green (Raid Finder) themes. Set bonuses focus on improving rotational efficiency, damage output, survivability, or healing potency, depending on the spec. These tier sets are obtained from raid content, with higher difficulties offering more powerful aesthetics and stats.
The color schemes differ based on difficulty:
- Mythic: This set has a more regal and powerful look, with deep purple hues and elaborate designs. The armor includes ornate details and glowing purple elements.
- Heroic: The set features intricate blue accents and glowing elements, giving it a frosty and mystical appearance. The armor has detailed patterns and blue highlights.
- Normal: The set features warm orange tones with glowing elements, giving it a fiery and energetic appearance. The armor has detailed patterns and orange highlights (IMO it’s the best option for the Druids from this raid, since it matches great with the class colors).
- Raid Finder: This set has a natural and earthy look, with green accents and glowing elements. The armor includes detailed patterns and green highlights (most likely, you will even manage to farm this recolor solo in WoW Retail).
Druid Set Bonuses for Vault of the Incarnates

Evoker Armor Set Appearances
Evoker tier sets (Scales of the Awakened) enhance each specialization’s core abilities, offering unique bonuses that synergize with their playstyle (check set bonuses below). The armor’s appearance varies by difficulty, featuring fiery (Normal), frost-like (Heroic), sinister (Mythic), or nature-themed (Raid Finder) designs. Set bonuses for Augmentation, Devastation, and Preservation focus on empowering spells, critical strikes, and healing efficiency.
The color schemes differ based on difficulty:
- Mythic: Incorporates a more sinister and mysterious look with darker tones and glowing purple highlights.
- Heroic: Features intricate, frost-like patterns and glowing blue highlights, giving it a cold and mystical appearance.
- Normal: Features a warm, fiery theme with glowing orange highlights, giving it a fiery and intense appearance.

Hunter Armor Set Appearances
The Hunter class set (Stormwing Harrier’s Camouflage) offers distinct bonuses tailored to each specialization—Beast Mastery, Marksmanship, and Survival. The armor’s appearance varies by difficulty, featuring unique color schemes and thematic elements, from fiery patterns (Normal) to frost-like crystalline details (Heroic) and ornate glowing designs (Mythic). Set bonuses enhance core abilities, such as increasing Kill Command effectiveness for Beast Masters, improving Aimed Shot bleeds for Marksmanship, and boosting Raptor Strike/Mongoose Bite for Survival.
The color schemes differ based on difficulty:
- Mythic: Incorporates more elaborate and ornate details compared to the Heroic set. The armor has a regal and powerful look, with glowing elements. I really like this recolor and would recommend all Hunters (especially if you’re a WoW Dragonflight fan) to farm it.
- Heroic: Features intricate, frost-like patterns and sharp, crystalline elements. The armor has a sleek and cold appearance, but IMO it doesn’t match well with the Hunter class (you’re not a frost mage in the end).
- Normal: Features a more rugged and fierce appearance, with sharp, flame-like patterns.
- Raid Finder: Incorporates elements that resemble foliage and natural growth. It’s possible to farm it solo, but in my opinion, it’s better to find a group and get yourself a Mythic recolor for transmog purposes, which looks much better.
Hunter Set Bonuses
Beast Mastery
- (2) Set: Kill Command damage +10%, with a 10% chance to reset Barbed Shot cooldown.
- (4) Set: Barbed Shot damage +5%, and each use increases the next Kill Command‘s damage by 20%.

Mage Armor Set Appearances
Mage class sets (Bindings of the Crystal Scholar) are designed to enhance each specialization’s core gameplay, offering unique bonuses that synergize with their rotation and abilities. The sets feature distinct visual themes based on difficulty: Mythic (dark and mystical), Heroic (icy and crystalline), Normal (fiery and intense), and Raid Finder (earthy and organic). Each set provides tier bonuses that significantly boost the Mage’s DPS based on the spec that you’re playing (you can check all set bonuses below). However, since it’s legacy WoW content, for us it’s much more interesting how this or another VoTI Mage armor set looks like.
The color schemes differ based on difficulty:
- Mythic: Similar in structure to the Heroic set but with a darker, more mystical appearance. The purple glowing orbs and crystals give it a more sinister and powerful look. It fits great if you’re playing an arcane mage.
- Heroic: Features intricate, icy designs with sharp, crystalline elements. The shoulders have large, blue glowing orbs, and the chest piece has a prominent blue crystal in the center. Great skin for the Frost Mages.
- Normal: Features a fiery theme with sharp, flame-like elements. The shoulders have large, orange glowing orbs, and the chest piece has a prominent orange crystal in the center. The overall look is fiery and intense, and will be a great transmog if you’re playing a Fire Mage.

- (4) Set Bonus: Consuming Fingers of Frost grants +8% spell damage for 6 seconds.
Monk Armor Set Appearances
Monk class sets (Wrappings of the Waking Fist) look good (I like the design of the helmet). From the PoV of tier set bonuses, the Brewmaster set improves survivability and stagger management, the Mistweaver set boosts healing efficiency and extends HoT durations, and the Windwalker set amplifies combo-based damage. Each difficulty tier has its color schemes—Mythic (purple), Heroic (blue), Normal (orange), and Raid Finder (green)—with glowing orbs and cloud-like motifs (because of the shoulders).
The color schemes differ based on difficulty:
- Mythic: The armor includes detailed patterns and glowing purple orbs, similar to the Heroic set but with a darker and more intense color. The helmet features a purple crystal, and the shoulders have purple, cloud-like formations.
- Heroic: The armor is adorned with intricate patterns and glowing blue orbs, giving it a mystical and powerful appearance. The helmet has a prominent blue crystal at the top, and the shoulders are decorated with blue, cloud-like formations.
- Normal: The armor is decorated with intricate patterns and glowing orange orbs. The helmet has yellow glowing eyes, and the shoulders feature orange, cloud-like spheres.

Paladin Armor Set Appearances
The Paladin class set (Virtuous Silver Cataphract) embodies divine power, offering unique bonuses tailored to each specialization—Holy, Protection, and Retribution. The armor’s appearance varies by difficulty, featuring crystalline designs with glowing elements in different colors (purple for Mythic, blue for Heroic, orange for Normal, and green for Raid Finder). As usual, each VoTI set boosts core abilities, improving healing, survivability, or DPS.
The color schemes differ based on difficulty:
- Mythic: Similar to the Heroic set but with a more regal and mystical appearance due to the purple hue. The crystalline structures are still present but with a more ethereal glow.
- Heroic: The armor has crystalline structures with sharp, angular designs. The blue glowing elements add a sense of mystique and power (however, the Mythic set looks way more mysterious and dark).
- Normal: The armor has a warmer, more noble tone compared to the other sets. The crystalline structures are still present, but with an orange glow.

Priest Armor Set Appearances
The Priest class sets (Draconic Hierophant’s Finery) from the Vault of the Incarnates raid offer distinct bonuses tailored to each specialization—Discipline, Holy, and Shadow—enhancing their core abilities. The armor designs vary by difficulty, with Mythic (purple), Heroic (blue), Normal (orange), and Raid Finder (green) each providing unique color schemes while maintaining intricate, glowing patterns. These sets were meant to reflect the Priest’s mystical and spiritual nature, blending futuristic aesthetics with traditional priestly motifs (the helmet looks pretty weird, though).
The color schemes differ based on difficulty:
- Mythic: It shares the same design elements as the Heroic set but with a more regal and mystical appearance due to the purple hue. The glowing accents are also present: in my opinion, this set will be a great transmog for all Shadow Priests.
- Heroic: The design includes intricate patterns and glowing blue accents, particularly noticeable on the shoulders, chest, and back. It reminds me of some armor from WoW TBC (especially shaman’s Tier-6 set) with elements from Mists of Pandaria.
