Let’s be honest – the main reason most of us queue for Arenas and Rated Battlegrounds in Midnight isn’t just for fun. It’s for the rating, the prestige, and those sweet exclusive rewards: seasonal titles, mounts, elite transmogs, and achievements that make you stand out in Valdrakken (or wherever people hang out now).
The WoW PvP ranking system is straightforward:
- 2v2 Arena – quick, chaotic, and unforgiving
- 3v3 Arena – the real competitive bracket where Gladiator mounts live
- Solo Shuffle – no team? no problem. Queue solo, get rating
- Battleground Blitz – fast-paced, smaller-scale rated BGs
- Rated Battlegrounds (RBGs) – large-scale, objective-based, best with a guild group
The expansion also brings fresh balance changes, updated PvP talents, and a brand new Gladiator mount: the Galactic Gladiator’s Goredrake. Yes, it’s a dragon. Yes, it’s void‑themed. Yes, you want it.
From this guide, you will learn where to check the following PvP leaderboards:
WoW PvP Rankings Explained
The system hasn’t changed much, and that’s fine – it works.
How rating works:
- Win matches → rating goes up
- Lose matches → rating goes down
- Beat a team with higher MMR → you gain more points
- Lose to a team with lower MMR → you lose more points
Two numbers matter: your Current Rating (CR) and your Matchmaking Rating (MMR). MMR is the hidden number that determines who you face. If your MMR is higher than your CR, you’ll gain more points per win until they balance out.

WoW Solo Shuffle Ladder (Midnight)

Solo Shuffle is great for pushing rating without a team. Each spec has its own ladder, so you’re only competing against others playing the same class.
If you play in US servers, check WoW Solo Shuffle leaderboards here: https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-us/game/pvp/leaderboards/shuffle/deathknight/blood
If you play in EU servers, check WoW Solo Shuffle leaderboards here: https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-gb/game/pvp/leaderboards/shuffle/deathknight/blood
Solo Shuffle Rewards:
Rating Reward 1000 Combatant rewards 1400 Challenger rewards 1800 Rival rewards 2100 Duelist + Weapon Illusion 2400 Elite cosmetics 2400 + 50 wins Legend: Midnight Season 1 title Top of ladder Rank 1 Legend titles
Solo Shuffle is especially popular for DPS players who don’t want to wait ages for a group. You still get elite transmogs, the weapon illusion, and a title – but no Gladiator mount (that’s still 3v3 only).
WoW 2v2 Ladder (WoW Midnight)

2v2 is great for quick games and learning fundamentals. No Gladiator mount here, but you can still get elite transmogs, Duelist titles, and vicious mounts.
If you play in US servers, check WoW 2v2 Arena leaderboards here: https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-us/game/pvp/leaderboards/2v2
If you play in EU servers, check WoW 2v2 Arena leaderboards here: https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-gb/game/pvp/leaderboards/2v2
In Midnnight Season 1, playing World of Warcraft 2v2 Arenas, you can get the following rewards:
| Rating | Reward |
| 1000+ 100% Progress Bar | Vicious Snaplizard Horde / Vicious Snaplizard Alliance |
| 1950 | Weapon Illusion: Galaxy |

| 2400 | Galactic Gladiator’s Tabard Alliance / Galactic Gladiator’s Tabard Horde |
WoW RBG Ladder (US & EU)

If you prefer objectives over deathmatches, RBGs are for you. You’ll need a group – pugging 10 players is rough. But the faction‑specific titles (Marshal, Warlord, etc.) are still some of the coolest in the game.

If you play in EU servers, check WoW EU RBG leaderboards here: https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-gb/game/pvp/leaderboards/battlegrounds

10v10 Battleground Blitz Ladder (WoW Midnight S1)

Blitz has grown a lot. Faster queues, shorter matches, and solo/duo queue make it super accessible. You still earn elite transmogs, seasonal pennants, and titles.
If you play in US servers, check WoW US RBG leaderboards here: https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-us/game/pvp/leaderboards/blitz/deathknight/blood
If you play in EU servers, check WoW EU RBG leaderboards here: https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-gb/game/pvp/leaderboards/blitz/deathknight/blood
Top players can earn faction‑exclusive titles (Marshal, Warlord, Hero). It’s a solid way to get rated rewards without committing to full RBGs.
There are 3 main rewards in Battleground Blitz:
- Temporary Title: Strategist, which you can earn by winning 25 matches while at Elite rank during the season. This title lasts until the next season.
- Permanent Title: Forged Marshall for Alliance players or Forged Warlord for Horde players. This title is given to players who finish in the top 0.1% of the ladder and have won at least 50 matches.
In addition to these seasonal rewards, there are also achievements such as Battleground Blitz Master for winning 150 matches, and Battleground Blitzer for winning a match in under 5 minutes.
