Equilibrium Loot Guide

Equilibrium is a new dungeon added with Destiny 2: Renegades, released on December 13, 2025. This dungeon takes Guardians to Venus, where you face the forces of the Barant Imperium and powerful Dredgen bosses across multiple encounters.

(i) D2 Equilibrium carry is a good option if you want to clear the dungeon faster, avoid LFG issues, and focus on getting specific loot like Zealous Ideal or the Heirloom Exotic.

iconThe Equilibrium dungeon features two main boss fights and traversal sections, offering strong chances to earn high-value loot. Players can farm a full set of Legendary weapons, a unique armor set, and the new Exotic Crossbow, Heirloom.

iconIn this guide, you will find:

  • The full Equilibrium Loot Table
  • An overview of all Equilibrium weapons
  • A breakdown of the Equilibrium armor set

iconWe cover every reward available in the Equilibrium dungeon, explain which weapons are worth farming, and help you decide if this dungeon fits your goals in Destiny 2.

iconThe Equilibrium dungeon offers a strong mix of Legendary weapons, a full dungeon armor set, and the Heirloom Exotic Crossbow, which drops from the final boss. Most Legendary weapons from this dungeon come with solid perk pools and the Imperial Allegiance origin trait, making them worth farming for both PvE and PvP builds.

With two main boss encounters and clear loot separation between fights, Equilibrium is a good dungeon to target specific drops like Zealous Ideal, High Tyrant, or Bitter End, while also working toward the Exotic.

Alongside gear, Equilibrium offers exclusive cosmetics, including emblems, shaders, and a Sparrow.

iconYou can earn three emblems from the Equilibrium dungeon:

In addition to emblems, Equilibrium also rewards exclusive shaders, the Arid Rambler Exotic Sparrow (Flawless completion), and progress toward the Praxic title.

How to Farm Equilibrium for Loot

iconEquilibrium is the newest dungeon in Destiny 2, and it’s not included in the Featured dungeon rotation. Because of this, the Heirloom Exotic Crossbow can only drop once per character each week. On the other hand, all Legendary weapons and armor from Equilibrium can be farmed with no weekly limit.

If you’re looking to farm specific encounters, this is the easiest way to do it.

iconHow to farm the Equilibrium dungeon:

  1. Run the dungeon on your first character until you reach the encounter you want to farm.
  2. Start the encounter and intentionally wipe without completing it.
  3. Switch to another character that has not cleared the dungeon and rejoin the fireteam.
  4. Wipe again to save the checkpoint on that second character.

iconTo keep farming:

  • Launch the dungeon using the character that holds the checkpoint.
  • Swap back to your main character, rejoin the fireteam, and clear the encounter.
  • Repeat the process as many times as you want to farm Legendary drops.

First Encounter: Harvester

This opener is mostly about control and pacing. You clear waves, push through the arena, and complete the encounter objective while dealing with steady pressure from adds. It’s a good checkpoint to farm if you’re chasing the dungeon’s Solar/Arc weapon drops early.

Second Encounter: Harrow

Harrow is the first real “boss-style” fight in Equilibrium. The team usually splits to manage enemies, keep the arena under control, and open damage windows without getting overwhelmed. If you want heavy weapon rolls, this is the encounter most people repeat.

Final Encounter: Sere

The last fight is the main loot target. You’ll rotate through mechanics, survive the pressure, and then burn the boss during short damage phases. This is also the only place where the dungeon Exotic can drop outside of Contest Mode.

Overall, Equilibrium drops six Legendary weapons, the Equilibrium armor set, and the Heirloom Exotic. Most loot is consistent per encounter, but Heirloom is the rare drop tied to the final boss (unless it’s guaranteed for your run type, like Contest Mode).

Equilibrium Weapons

Equilibrium is Destiny 2’s Renegades dungeon, and it comes with a full weapon set to farm: six Legendary drops plus the Heirloom Exotic Crossbow. The lineup covers Solar, Arc, Void, and Stasis, so you can chase rolls for both PvE and PvP loadouts.
